Business Analyst (Fraud Mitigation) at Ovations Technologies

Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our team and play a key role in fraud mitigation rule implementation across a leading bank. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Business Analysis, enterprise business processes, and a proven track record in the banking industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, analyze, optimize, document, and implement end-to-end enterprise business processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels, from design workshops and end-user training to presenting to senior management and executives.
• Build a holistic view of the organization's strategy, processes, information, and technology assets.
• Align the business mission and strategy with IT solutions, ensuring the current and future needs are met in a sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.
• Conduct business analysis tasks, connecting information technology with business needs, across varying levels of detail and complexity.
• Work within agile teams, applying frameworks such as SAFe and using agile tools like Jira and Confluence.

Essential Experience & Skills:

• Banking and Fraud experience is essential
• At least 10 years’ experience in business analysis, focusing on business process assessment, mapping, and optimization.
• Proven expertise in the banking industry, particularly in collections & recoveries projects, transactional banking, and secured & unsecured lending.
• Experience in facilitating workshops with business users, including executives, for requirements gathering and design validation.
• Hands-on experience with process modeling standards (e.g., BPMN).
• Solid background in business process transformation, including:
• Business Process Reengineering
• Workflow management and process automation
• Enterprise Application Integration
• Business Intelligence, analytics, and reporting
• Mastery of industry-recognized business analysis knowledge areas.
• Demonstrated ability to work at high levels of abstraction and complexity.
• Familiarity with business process transformation technologies and methodologies.
