Purpose of the Role

• As a Business Analyst with a specialization in visualizations, you will play a crucial role in transforming complex data into actionable insights for informed decision-making. The primary focus of this role is to leverage data visualization tools and techniques to communicate trends, patterns, and key business metrics effectively. The ideal candidate possesses a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for turning data into compelling visual stories.

Key performance areas

• Data Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of complex business data sets to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand business requirements.
• Visualization Development: Design and create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and charts using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, or similar). Ensure that visualizations align with business objectives and effectively communicate key insights.
• Requirements Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements related to data analysis and visualization needs. Translate business requirements into technical specifications for visualization development.
• Quality Assurance: Perform thorough testing and validation of visualizations to ensure accuracy and reliability. Proactively identify and address data quality issues that may impact the integrity of visualizations.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with business leaders, to integrate visualizations into broader business intelligence solutions. Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the value of visualizations.
• Excel Skills: Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis, and reporting. Excel proficiency in creating pivot tables, charts, and graphs for detailed data representation. Integrate Excel capabilities into broader visualization strategies.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience in business analysis with a focus on data visualization. Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced Excel skills for and reporting
