Job Description

The job involves the performance, development and enhancement of business application systems across the business, management of the super-user process, coordination of Change Requests, managing of day to day interaction with consultants and Service providers as well as project management/ execution of major IS projects.

In order for the above to be performed effectively, the incumbent would need to gain a good understanding and awareness of the business and would need to focus on building relationships across the business.

Manage and enhance business application system thereby supporting timeous and accurate information to the business system. Ensuring all business application systems deliver value (ROI) to the business.
Successful implementation of IT projects. 

• Manage projects/ oversee Business Application Implementations in the Forbes Group
• Systems Optimisation/ Quality assurance and manage developments and improvements
• Manage Enterprise Application Training
• Manage and provide guidance i.t.o Application Support Services
• Financial Management
• Lead and Manage team members
• SHEQ Responsibilities
• IT Risk Governance

Skills, Experience & Education

• Minimum of a 3-year National Diploma (NQFF6) required
• Bachelor's Degree preferred (e.g. BCom Information Systems)
• Business Analysis skills
• Valid Driver’s Licence
• Project Management skills
• 5-7 years Applications Systems Experience
• 2 years Application Systems Management
• 2 years project management experience
