Business Claims Team Manager at MiWay Insurance Limited

What will you do?

• The Business Claims Team Manager is responsible for managing individuals within a team e.g. call centre agents / consultants within the communication centre.
• In this role you will ensure that the team reaches target by monitoring individual performance on a constant basis. Very knowledgeable on all aspects of the products, processes and systems. Mentors team and gives constant real-time support in terms of query resolution.

Minimum Qualification Required

• Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4 

Minimum Experience

• Minimum 5 years short-term insurance experience
• Minimum 3 years Claims experience
• 2 years Supervisory/Management experience
• Solid understanding of the claims system and claims procedures: inclusive of claims, investigations, procurement and legal department processes
• Motor and Non motor claims experience
• Commercial Claims experience will be beneficial

Deliverables include, but will not be limited to

• Grade 12/Standard 10/NQF 4
• Must be highly proficient in dealing with clients at all levels
• Comprehensive knowledge of legal liability and state regulations
• Thorough knowledge of claims investigation techniques
