Coordinate and drive the commercial elements of key contracts and products within the commercial partner landscape;
Ensure that all requirements are executed optimally;
Ensure that systems and procedures are put in place;
Drive key micro-business areas and commercial contracts within the airline, with a specific focus on revenue partnership and management of key products;
Monitor or coordinate the integration and utilisation of APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal functionality;
Ensure business requirements are effectively met through ongoing engagement with partners and internal stakeholders, while managing and coordinating the end-to-end integration of new API partners and the optimisation and maintenance of existing integrations;
Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships that enhance our services;
Negotiate with partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements, focusing on pricing, terms, and conditions;
Understand aviation systems and technologies, enabling effective communication with technical teams and partners;
Utilise data analytics to evaluate API performance and partnership effectiveness, making data-driven decisions for improvements;
Skilfully handle conflicts and disputes within partnerships, striving for resolution while safeguarding our interests;
Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure successful partnership integration;
Build relationships and collaborate with internal departments and external partners;
Ensure API partnerships are managed, and additional API and new distribution partners are contracted;
Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly business development, sales, and commercial performance reports within agreed timelines;
Analyse commercial and operational data to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities, and areas requiring corrective action;
Compile and maintain management dashboards, presentations, and performance summaries to support commercial decision-making;
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of business development and commercial reporting information for internal stakeholders;
Ability to use basic business software and management reporting.
Requirements
Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
Degree in B.Com, Business Science or B.Eng (Alternatively an Industrial Engineer with an interest and aptitude for Commercial Management) (Essential);
5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role or related (Essential);
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
Knowledge in Business Administration or Business Operations;
Knowledge of E-Commerce;
Knowledge of Business Process;
Stakeholder engagement;
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills;
Project Management;
Attention to detail;
Able to handle sensitive and confidential information;
Negotiating skills;
A knack for navigating the intricacies of partnerships.
