    Business Development Graduate

    Description

    • Support the team with the coordination and execution of commercial initiatives and projects across various business areas;
    • Assist with monitoring the performance of catering products and ancillary revenue streams to identify trends, opportunities, and operational challenges; 
    • Support the implementation and post implementation review of ancillary products, promotions, and commercial initiatives;
    • Assist with conducting competitor and market analysis to support commercial decision-making and identify industry trends and opportunities; 
    • Assist with developing and maintaining process documentation, SOPs, checklists, trackers, and operational controls; 
    • Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, reporting visibility, customer experience, and commercial performance;
    • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and filing systems relating to commercial activities and projects; 
    • Participate in structured rotational exposure across various commercial functions, including catering, ancillary revenue, partnerships, distribution, and GDS support; 
    • Build knowledge and understanding of airline commercial operations, customer trends, revenue drivers, and industry practices;
    • Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and a willingness to learn within a dynamic airline environment;
    • Assist with preparing and maintaining weekly and monthly commercial reports, dashboards, presentations, and performance summaries;
    • Support the collection, analysis, and validation of operational and commercial data to identify trends, variances, recurring issues, and improvement opportunities;
    • Assist with compiling business cases and management reports relating to ancillary products and commercial initiatives; 
    • Support the maintenance of accurate, up-to-date, and reliable commercial data and information for reporting and decision-making purposes; 
    • Assist with liaising with internal departments, suppliers, and service providers regarding operational queries, reconciliations, recurring issues, and follow-up actions to support effective service delivery and operational continuity; 
    • Assist with monitoring supplier performance and following up on outstanding actions to support the maintenance of operational and service delivery standards. 

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential);
    • Bachelor’s degree (e.g., BCom, Business Science, Industrial  Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Analytics or similar) (Essential);
    • Interest in commercial aviation, customer experience, and operational execution; 
    • Basic understanding of supplier coordination and service delivery processes; 
    • Knowledge of reporting principles and data analysis concepts; 
    • Interpersonal skills;
    • Strong attention to detail; 
    • Results driven; 
    • Ability to keep one’s composure in a fast moving, dynamic environment; 
    • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written);
    • Analytical mind-set.

    Business Development Specialist

    Description

    • Coordinate and drive the commercial elements of key contracts and products within the commercial partner landscape; 
    • Ensure that all requirements are executed optimally; 
    • Ensure that systems and procedures are put in place; 
    • Drive key micro-business areas and commercial contracts within the airline, with a specific focus on revenue partnership and management of key products;
    • Monitor or coordinate the integration and utilisation of APIs, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal functionality;
    • Ensure business requirements are effectively met through ongoing engagement with partners and internal stakeholders, while managing and coordinating the end-to-end integration of new API partners and the optimisation and maintenance of existing integrations; 
    • Identify, cultivate, and manage strategic partnerships that enhance our services;  
    • Negotiate with partners to establish mutually beneficial agreements, focusing on pricing, terms, and conditions; 
    • Understand aviation systems and technologies, enabling effective communication with technical teams and partners;  
    • Utilise data analytics to evaluate API performance and partnership effectiveness, making data-driven decisions for improvements;  
    • Skilfully handle conflicts and disputes within partnerships, striving for resolution while safeguarding our interests;  
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including IT, Marketing, and Sales, to ensure successful partnership integration; 
    • Build relationships and collaborate with internal departments and external partners; 
    • Ensure API partnerships are managed, and additional API and new distribution partners are contracted; 
    • Prepare and submit accurate weekly and monthly business development, sales, and commercial performance reports within agreed timelines; 
    • Analyse commercial and operational data to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities, and areas requiring corrective action; 
    • Compile and maintain management dashboards, presentations, and performance summaries to support commercial decision-making; 
    • Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and availability of business development and commercial reporting information for internal stakeholders;
    • Ability to use basic business software and management reporting. 

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or Equivalent (Essential); 
    • Degree in B.Com, Business Science or B.Eng (Alternatively an Industrial Engineer with an interest and aptitude for Commercial Management) (Essential);  
    • 5 years’ relevant experience in a similar role or related (Essential);   
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);  
    • Knowledge in Business Administration or Business Operations; 
    • Knowledge of E-Commerce;  
    • Knowledge of Business Process;
    • Stakeholder engagement; 
    • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills; 
    • Project Management; 
    • Attention to detail; 
    • Able to handle sensitive and confidential information; 
    • Negotiating skills; 
    • A knack for navigating the intricacies of partnerships.

    Call Centre Agent

    Description

    • Receive calls from customers / passengers;
    • Deal with problems such as delays, cancellations etc.;
    • Explain processes to customers and assisting them where necessary;
    • Work in a team and longer than normal hours (shift work);
    • Deal with confidential information;
    • Communicate with customers both verbally and in writing.

    Requirements

    • Grade 12 or equivalent (Essential);
    • Minimum of 1 to 4 Years experience in a Call Centre Environment (Essential);
    • Travel or relevant qualification (Advantageous);
    • Excellent communication in English (speak, read and write);
    • Solid computer literacy;
    • Excellent phone etiquette;
    • No criminal or credit record;
    • Able to work on weekends, public holidays and flexible hours as required;
    • Own transport would be an advantage.
