Business Development Specialist at The Cross-Border Road Transport Agency

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

The successful candidate will be expected, among others to:

• Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
• Lead the formation of strategic partnerships, increased revenue and commercialisation of business process
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services - or new ways of reaching existing markets.
• Establish and manage the Agency’s Training Academy
• Shape opportunities into structured programmes, projects, concept notes, and proposals with clear scope, deliverables, and commercial logic.
• Seek partnerships on Corporate Social Investment (CSI).

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Formal Qualifications:

• Relevant NQF level 7 qualification in Business Management/ Economics/Commerce

Experience:

• At least 5 years in business development, marketing and project management environment.

Ideal:

• Knowledge of the transport industry an advantage.
