Business Improvement Manager - Kempton Park at FlySafair

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and lead the Industrial Engineers team;
• Drive continuous improvements through business process engineering that interprets strategy, operations, and technology;
• Implement and maintain standards for industrial engineering activities and project execution;
• Manage sprints and delivery with Industrial Engineers team for both operations and project activities;
• Manage resolution of incidents and problems reported through support channels that require 2nd line support from engineers;
• Ensure SME ownership of systems that result in high levels of expertise and systems knowledge;
• Ensure that systems are maintained and remain optimal;
• Ensure that all relevant documentation processes are in place;
• Communicate with stakeholders in the various business and operational streams;
• Contribute to the strategic priorities within the Innovation department;
• Perform Senior Industrial Engineering activities within the specified business stream;
• A strong customer-centric focus is essential;
• Drive change management in a pro-active manner.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Grade 12;
• BEng Industrial Engineering;
• Honours Industrial Engineering or equivalent postgraduate qualification;
• 10 years of management experience is preferable.
