Business Intelligence Developer (QlikView) at Kuba

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QlikView / BI Developer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our business intelligence solutions using QlikView. As a QlikView / BI Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data-driven insights and reports that enable informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Modelling: Design and develop QlikView data models to support business requirements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
• Dashboard and Report Development: Create interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using QlikView to provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Data Extraction and Transformation: Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into QlikView to ensure a clean and structured data environment.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize QlikView applications for performance, ensuring fast response times and efficient data retrieval.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into functional QlikView solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of QlikView applications, data models, and best practices.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of QlikView applications to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• User Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users, addressing their queries and assisting with troubleshooting.
• Stay Updated: Stay informed about the latest developments in BI tools and technologies, and suggest improvements or enhancements to existing systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience as a QlikView Developer or in a similar BI role.
• Strong proficiency in QlikView development, including data modelling, scripting, and dashboard creation.
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation techniques.
• Experience with ETL processes and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Knowledge of data visualization best practices.
• QlikView certification (preferred but not required).
