Business Intelligence Support Analyst at Paracon

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Providing first-line support for the team with regards to queries from the business (internal and external queries);
• Writing SQL to facilitate data extract requests received from stakeholders;
• Providing continuous and timeous feedback to users on the progress of queries and incident requests;
• Analysing incident requests and sharing findings with the team to reduce queries over time;
• Generating monthly extracts timeously;
• Updating the SQL for the monthly extracts as required;
• Maintaining the SQL repository and ensuring that the process is documented;
• Working with the team to ensure that the extracts are automated;
• Monitoring the data warehouse for integration failures;
• Proactively identifying improvements that can be made in the support space and working with the Product Owner to raise concerns and suggestions; and,
• Managing and maintaining the team collaboration pages as relates to Support.

To apply, you need to have strong experience in Data Analysis and excellent SQL skills. Any work experience in Retail Investment Management will be a huge advantage.

You will have to rely on your fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills as well as your competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
