Butchery Manager -Retail/ FMCG at MPRTC Recruitment

• An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Butchery Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy butchery, ensuring efficient store management, excellent product quality, strong team leadership, and profitability.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric (relevant retail or food management qualification advantageous)
• 3–5 years' experience managing a butchery or retail meat outlet
• Strong knowledge of meat cuts, butchery processes, and product handling
• Experience with stock control, purchasing, and supplier management
• Sound understanding of retail operations, financial controls, and cost management
• Proven leadership and staff management experience
• Strong organisational, planning, and communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations (HACCP or similar advantageous)
