• An exciting opportunity to work for one of the country’s fastest growing independent chain store as a CAD Designer has become open.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the the below :

Main Duties:

•  Design Seasonal Print and pattern work for line development which includes prints, Yarn dyes, logos, appliques, graphics and embroidery
•  Format all artwork development for transmission in tech packs
•  Utilize team resources (internal and external) to effectively execute process
•  Update and maintain in house print/pattern library
•  Update and maintain technology, software and equipment needs

Requirements:

•  Relevant qualification in related field
•  In depth understanding and expertise in design software including Photoshop, Illustrator etc
•  Knowledge and understanding of branding
•  Strong management, communicative, organizational and problem-solving skills
•  Understanding of specific merchandising lines and core customer behavior
•  Knowledge of Clothing retail industry
