Minimum Requirements:

• Matric.
• A LLB Degree from a recognised South African University or in the final year of LLB studies.
• Essential: Own Vehicle and valid Driver’s License.
• Fully proficient in Microsoft Office.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Legal Research: Conduct legal research to support senior attorneys in case preparation and strategy development.
• Drafting Documents: Prepare legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and legal opinions, under the guidance of experienced attorneys.
• Court Attendance: Attend court proceedings, hearings, and client meetings with senior attorneys to observe and assist in case management.
• Client Interaction: Develop professional relationships with clients, assisting with client inquiries and maintaining communication.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with administrative tasks, such as file management, document filing, and maintaining accurate records.
• Compliance and Regulatory Work: Stay updated on changes in South African law and regulatory requirements and help ensure that the firm and its clients remain compliant.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing legal education and training to enhance your legal knowledge and skills.
