Candidate Project Manager at Turner & Townsend

Job Description

• Will be site based for 2 years in Potchefstroom North West, travelling to other project sites
• Manage end to end project delivery
• Support the Project Lead in the management of the commission
• Collaborate with the overall cross-functional project team
• Check contracts for services for commissions under your control are in place with all clients/sub-consultants in line with group policy
• Help to establish the overall success criteria for the project, including time, cost, technical and performance parameters
• Project planning, including advising the production of the detailed project plan
• Advise upon the procurement of resources-design and construction
• Monitor and advise upon projects finances/budgets
• Assist managing the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
• Ensure the production of formal projects progress and other reports
• Develop appropriate contractor interface

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or relevant discipline or equivalent qualification
• Registered as a CPM Candidate with SACPCMP

Experience

• 3 -5 years' experience working on large-scale, mission critical construction projects. 
• Experience within the Real Estate, Retail, Commercial, Energy and Mining sector
• Ability to thrive in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
• Technical ability to manage complex, multiple projects and programs as the key client interface
• Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your client
• Advanced Microsoft skills are essential
• Own transport
