AECOM is seeking a Candidate Technologist - Highways to be based in South Africa's Enterprise Capabilities office in Cape Town . This position will support a team locally based in South Africa and Global Teams. As a part of AECOM's culture, it offers a flexible hybrid work arrangement which accommodates both office and out-of-office work schedules.
The Candidate Technologist conducts elementary assignments in the civil engineering field usually as part of a project team.
Technical Excellence:
Assist with preliminary and detailed designs including specifications and general alignment drawings reparation of mater plans and feasibility reports
Assist with standard setting and quality insurance, including undertaking of site inspections and construction supervision
Prepare procurement documents and BOQ’s
Liaise with professional team, client and contractors in dealing with matters arising
Assist in client/third party correspondence handled according to situation
Complete any other work related to projects within the department
Uses computer software as a tool for solving fundamental engineering problems.
Qualifications
Here is what we are looking for:
BTech Degree (Civil Engineering)
+3 Years' experience after obtainment of Undergrad within the build environment within a design capacity
