Department's Synopsis

• The Marketing and Brand Department within the University Relations Division, focuses on internal and external marketing, corporate branding, graphic design, events management and social media management. The Brand Marketing department ensures that the university brand is consistent throughout all internal and external communications and that all marketing initiatives enhance the university’s reputation, foster engagement, and support student recruitment. 

Position: Casual Worker

• Task Grade: 2

Reporting line: Facilities Management Officer

Location: Southern Region

• Duration: 3 months (3 days a week)
• To ensure a clean, healthy and productive work environment.

Education

• Grade 11
• Dusting: Office furniture, equipment and shelves.
• Floor cleaning: Vacuuming of carpets and mopping of hard floors.
• Waste disposal: Emptying trash bins and replenishing liners.
• Sanitization: High touch areas such as door handles, switches, keyboards and communal spaces.
• Restocking supplies: Ensuring toilet paper, soap, paper towels are adequately stocked in washrooms.
• Cleaning of toilets: Disinfection and cleaning of toilet bowls, including under the rims.

DUTIES

• Sinks and counters: Cleaning of sinks, mirrors, countertops, and faucets.
• Window cleaning: Internal windows and glass surfaces are needed.
• Specific focus areas: Meeting rooms, reception area and common spaces.

Remuneration

• R3047,59 Per month
