We are looking for a Catalog Intern to join our team for a 6-month internship, with the possibility of extension. This role is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a passion for e-commerce, and a willingness to learn the ins and outs of managing product catalogs across various online platforms.
As a Catalog Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in maintaining and optimizing product listings for some of South Africa’s leading e-commerce brands. You’ll work closely with our marketing, creative, and account management teams to ensure that our clients’ digital storefronts are accurate, engaging, and high-performing.

Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing and updating product catalogs across e-commerce platforms
Check and ensure product data is accurate, complete, and in line with client requirements
Support in setting up and monitoring product feeds for platforms like Google Shopping and Facebook Shops
Help troubleshoot and fix feed or catalog errors under guidance from senior team members
Participate in catalog audits to maintain data quality and consistency
Assist with implementing promotional updates, seasonal changes, and stock adjustments
Work collaboratively with content creators, designers, and account managers to align product listings with marketing campaigns
Requirements
Diploma or degree (completed or in progress) in Marketing, E-Commerce, Business, Information Management, or a related field
Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (experience with Shopify or similar tools is a plus)
Comfortable working with spreadsheets (Excel or Google Sheets)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Eagerness to learn and contribute to a team environment
Good communication skills
Must be available to work fully on-site at our Somerset West office, Monday to Friday
