Description

• Ensure correct algorithm is applied to individual parts at the location level.
• Create events (i.e. promotions, specials etc).
• Evaluate and adjust stock indicator table.
• Adjust abnormal demand, conduct forward planning, set up policies on APS.
• Conduct pick loss analysis, manage excess stock, clear backlogs (supplier & PDC ATP).
• Expedite critical parts & measure lead time and overdue orders.
• Place emergency and sea freight stock orders to suppliers.
• Escalate to Expeditor in case of lead time infringement.
• Update and monitor planning targets & supplier performance.
• Facilitate order, inventory & demand management.
• Compile monthly management reporting.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Grade: 12 Matric Certificate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Commerce or Economics.

Skills:

• Work well under pressure and maintain good customer relations.
• Good communication (oral and written) & interpersonal relations skills.
• Work independently though being a team player.
• Analytical and strategic skills to identify problems thereafter solve them.
• Problem Solving Skills.
• Pro-active, highly motivated and pay attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Products Knowledge of ERP systems.

Experience:

• Experience in the same/similar role - 5 years.
