Malander is seeking qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) professionals for various contractual roles across a range of dynamic clients and industries. These opportunities are ideal for individuals with strong financial acumen and solid post-articles experience who are available immediately to take on short- to medium-term assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, review, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS or relevant accounting standards
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory financial requirements
Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans
Track financial performance and provide insights to improve profitability and efficiency
Manage internal and external audit processes, including preparation of audit files and resolution of queries
Oversee month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting
Monitor and forecast cash flow; manage working capital and banking relationships
Assist with tax compliance, including VAT, income tax, and corporate tax matters
Review and strengthen internal controls and identify opportunities for process optimisation
Lead or support finance-related projects such as ERP implementations or business restructuring
Collaborate with leadership, department heads, and external stakeholders to support strategic decision-making
