An appropriate National Technical Certificate (NTC 3) in Diesel Mechanic qualification. A Trade Test Certificate in Diesel Mechanic. Assessor certificate will be an added advantage.
A minimum of three (3) years experience after qualification as an artisan. Artisan training or assessment experience. Knowledge of skills Development Act of 1998. Must be able to conduct moderate trade tests in the Diesel Mechanic and related trade.
DUTIES :
Conduct trade testing in Diesel Mechanic trade, as well as implement and maintain ARPL. Conduct Moderation of Trade Test internally and externally.
Maintain and ensure safekeeping of assessments records. Supervise Trade Assistants. Procure assessment equipment and material. Assess performance of staff in the unit.
