Cleaner at Afrimat

Duties and Responsibilities (not limited not):

• Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces.
• Performing general sweeping, scrubbing, and mopping of hardwood, laminated, or tiled floors.
• Using vacuuming equipment to clean carpets.
• Disposing of trash from bins and containers.
• Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed.
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in bathrooms.
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors.
• Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment supplies, and products.
• Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products.
• Keeping all public spaces neat.
• Reporting repairs and replacements needed when countered on the job.
• Assist with performing daily pre-start inspection checks.
• Ensure that the plant is cleaned regularly and as when required.
• Assist with general maintenance tasks on and around the plant.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the general working area i.e. cleaning of screens, etc.
• Carry out other instructions given by your superior.
• Report any general elementary problems to his/her immediate supervisor.
• Adhere to all SHE rules and regulations that are applicable on the site.
• Assist with all screen changes
• Acknowledge that Management reserves the right to allocate additional tasks when for
• whatever reason the task cannot be completed on a standard allocated job.
• Assist with Receptionist duties
