A minimum of Grade 10 or equivalent qualification. No experience required. The candidate must have problem-solving skills, good interpersonal relations and sound communication skills. Ability to work under pressure and ability to perform routine tasks. Must be prepared to work night, weekends and public holidays. Previous experience in the Public Service will serve as added advantage.
Duties :
Cleaning of interior and exterior areas, e.g. cleaning bathrooms, showers, offices, wards, passages and waiting areas. Dust , wash, scrub and polish floors, windows, stairs, fire escapes, side walls, medical equipment, fridges and cleaning of spillages. Clean, mop, dust, empty bins and remove waste including medical waste while adhering to Health Care Waste Management policy.
Demonstrate sound knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) and Infection and Prevention Control (IPC) principles and practices. Be prepared to rotate within the scope of work. Perform any other duties as delegated by Supervisors.
