Cleaner at Tsebo Solution

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Minimum 1 year as a Cleaner within the cleaning/hygiene industry is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices and cleaning products and standard Operation Procedure (SOP) applications.
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment and products.
• Ability to work extended hours including overtime, weekends and public holidays.
• Basic service excellence skills – customer interface
• Knowledge of facility layout
• Ability to use a variety of cleaning equipment and products.
• Basic literacy and communication skills
• Understanding of company and client policies and procedures
• Preference will be given to candidates from the local area where the office and/or position will be based.
• Proper cleaning of toilets, equipment, offices, state property and assets
• Ensure effective use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Empty dustbins daily and dispose of all refuse appropriately in the refuse bins for collection.
• Collect paper waste in the specially marked bins for collection by the Recycling Company
• Check bathrooms twice a day and clean accordingly.
• Dust furniture timeously
• Vacuum all carpets at least twice per week – where applicable.
• Clean windows on the inside as and when required per SLA
• Store all cleaning equipment and products neatly in the designated cupboards.
• Ensure that all OHS act (Occupational Health and Safety) requirements are adhered to for site specific requirements in line with company/client policies, quality programmes and legislation.
• Utilization of cleaning/hygiene system applications where applicable e.g. I-Clean/E-San
• To maintain a high standard of morale and motivation through good communication skills.
