Job Advert Summary    

• The responsibility of the Clerk: Cashier is to ensure the accurate receiving and recipting of cash from the Drivers on a daily basis and ensuring banking is completed with the relevant security company as per allocated times in the day.

Requirements    

• Matric.
• Basic understanding of Accounting Priniciples.
• Previous Work experience in a similur role would be beneficial.
• Must be able to work in a high pressure enviroment and possess good people skills.

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Accurately count and receive money from drivers.
• Capture receipts for drivers, handle queries effieciently.
• Record totals of all transactions.
• Ensure accurate capturing of EFT’s.
• Responsible for Sundry banking.
• Reconcile payments received with driver documentation.
• Prepare cash and documentation for banking daily.
• Responsible for the recon of daily takings to balance against banking.
• Maintain records for audit purposes.
