Job Description

• TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Clerk: Legal within the Financial Services division in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Contact debtors to collect on accounts which are in default
• Prepare legal correspondence and documentation
• Handle questions or complaints
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Arrange payments, negotiate AOD’s and account settlements
• Recover delinquent debt by instructing external attorneys to institute legal action
• Track and report progress of litigation matters
• Marketing of debt collection services

Qualifications and Skills

• Matric / Grade 12
• Completed LLB-Degree / Credit Management or related field
• 3 - 5 years’ experience in a legal/collections environment (advantageous)
• Experience in customer care (advantageous)
• Knowledge of the National Credit Act
• Professional registration with the relevant professional body
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Swordfish experience (advantageous)
• File management
• Valid driver’s license
