Clinic Co-Ordinator at Western Cape Blood Service

Purpose of the Job

• Responsible for overall effective functioning of all aspects of the Clinic which includes ensuring the Clinic’s overall maintenance and upkeep. The position is based in Paarl and reports to Head – Donor Division.

Job Requirements
Minimum Requirements

• Matric Certificate
• Diploma in Nursing Science
• Current registration with SA Nursing Council
• Driver’s licence without endorsements
• Computer literate
• 2-3 years Phlebotomy experience/ IV therapy experience preferably gained in ICU or Trauma unit.
• Extensive knowledge of medical condition/ medications.
• Multilingual
• Good communication skills
• Client Service experience
• Demonstrable strong leadership and influencing skills
• Own reliable transport

A combination of the following skills, knowledge and attributes is required:

• Well spoken, well-groomed with good communication skills
• Possess excellent customer service skills and able to deal with the public
• Accuracy in data collection
• Have a friendly disposition and a willingness to “go the extra mile”
• Ability to work as part of a team is essential
• Willing to assist with carrying clinic equipment to and from venues
