Clinical Associates (King Cetshwayo) at Right to Care

Description

• Right To Care is looking for a suitable qualified Clinical Associate to be part of its clinical team in KwaZulu-Natal, King Cetshwayo
• Conduct circumcisions to all eligible clients
• assist in Preoperative care (History taking and physical exam) to exclude any complications
• Provide Inservice education to your teams
• Refer clients where needed according to the DoH referral system
• Understanding of DoH guidelines and SOP in relation to VMMC
• Maintain and respond to QA assessments.
• Implement Voluntary Male Circumcision Programme at facility level in accordance with Provincial and South African national guide.
• Ensure Comprehensive package of VMMC services available.
• Management of VMMC related adverse events.
• Participate in research projects relevant to the specific field.
• Provide leadership and manage your team
• draft plans for your team for weekly and monthly operations
• Liaise with the Outreach Officer and Social Mobilisers to ensure effective recruitment of clients.
• Keep abreast with developments in the field.
• Familiar with legislation, standards, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in clinical Associate or bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medical Practice
• At least 1-year experience in Public Health setting
• At least 1-year experience in a surgical setting at Medical Male Circumcision facility
