CMMS Specialist (SAP PM) at MECS (Pty) Ltd

Maintenance Planning within SAP Master Data / Superuser (PM & MM) - brief summary below.

• The objective is to deliver maintenance planning and work management support for fixed plant and mobile equipment efficiency and availability.
• Utilizes specialist master data/SAP experience to lead and manage CMMS deployment of maintenance strategies.

Work Management:

• Plan, schedule and coordinate all maintenance activities as well as resourcing and contractor management, CMMS management, AMP, and cost reporting.
•  Assist with the development of overhaul/shutdown schedules.
•  Perform Work/Task scoping including scope development, scope review improvement, risk assessment involvement, and contractor engagement in scoping activities.

Computerized Maintenance Management Systems:

• Assume responsibility for the deployment, operation, and control of the CMMS.
• Analyse, optimize, and deliver SAP / CMMS solutions.
• Manage the CMMS including the development of work orders, reports, schedules, and forecasts.
• Provide CMMS support, guidance, and training to team members and personnel as required.
• Produce maintenance KPI's as required.

Remote support or after Covid, based in JOHANNESBURG: Pref. Gauteng Resident. The contract is approx 1 year. Depending on experience (3 - 5 years experience)

Educational requirement:

• Graduate diploma of Maintenance Management or (or international equivalent).
• Qualified tradesperson or equivalent skills.
• Advanced level of computer skills/superuser with CMMS - experienced in the above industry/pref. mining, or heavy industrial
