Job Advert Summary
We require services of a qualified Turner in our Production Department.

The job primarily consists of loading work pieces into CNC machines setting and writing programs according to drawing specifications, installation of tooling and work-holding equipment.
This position requires spending most of their time on the manufacturing floor. There will always be the possibility of being involved directly with the manufacturing process should it ever be needed. 

Minimum Requirements

• Recognized trade papers.
• Good understanding of tooling and their application.
• Cylinder / components manufacturing experience.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must be able to meet strict deadlines.
• Good attention to detail.
• Understanding of Fanuc control systems.
• Turning and Milling experience essential.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ability to read and understand drawings
• Ability to use all measuring equipment
• Ability to manufacture to strict tolerances
• To manufacture components to suit repaired as well as new cylinders
• An understanding of cylinders and their applications
• Overtime will be a requirement when necessary
