    Hydraulic Turner - Hytec Engineering - Spartan

    Job Advert Summary
     We require the services of a qualified Turner in our Production Department. 

    The main purpose of the job is assembling fabricated parts to produce products, tools and machines. Following safety protocols. Diagnosing and repairing faults with tools and machinery, and performing regular maintenance. Setting up tools and machinery for fabrication process, including guides, stops and other controls.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Recognized trade papers (Preferably)
    • Good understanding of tooling and their application
    • Cylinder /-components manufacturing experience
    • Must be able to work under pressure
    • Must be able to meet strict deadlines 
    • Good attention to detail

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Ability to read and understand drawings
    • Ability to use all measuring equipment
    • Ability to manufacture to strict tolerances
    • To manufacture components to suit repaired as well as new cylinders
    • An understanding of cylinders and their applications
    • Overtime will be a requirement when necessary

    This role will require you to be out of the office hunting for business.
    Previous technical selling as an external sales person will be advantageous.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Matric or equivalent.
    • 2 - 5 years sales/business development experience and 2-5 years in key industrial fields (Steel, Mining, Packaging, Pulp and paper, engineering and agricultural).
    • Strong sales & business development focus.
    • Good understanding of market dynamics and consumer behaviour.
    • Knowledge and understanding of filtration related products, will be advantageous.

    Duties and Responsibilities

    •  The ability to prepare and present Fluid Management concepts to customers.
    • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales
    • Identify and target new customers and users of Hytec Fluid Technology products. 
    • On site evaluation of customer requirements, preparation of quotations and follow up of orders placed by customers.
    • Develop and implement territory action plan using comprehensive data analysis and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.
    • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of product range. 
    •  Initiating, planning, and executing sales calls

    We require services of a qualified Turner in our Production Department.

    The job primarily consists of loading work pieces into CNC machines setting and writing programs according to drawing specifications, installation of tooling and work-holding equipment.
