About the Role

You are responsible for managing and facilitating the collection of outstanding debts owed to the company. Your role entails monitoring account balances, contacting customers to negotiate payment plans, and ensuring timely resolution of delinquent accounts.

Responsibilities

• Implementing continuous improvements in collections to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt expense.
• Creating and maintaining accurate records of all collections activities and payments.
• Conducting thorough research on delinquent accounts to determine payment status.
• Providing regular reports on collection performance and making recommendations for process improvements.
• Managing and collecting outstanding accounts receivable balances from clients.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts and collections activities.
• Providing regular reports on collections performance and key metrics to management.
• Researching and resolving billing discrepancies and disputes.

Requirements

• Be able to communicate effectively with customers and negotiate payment arrangements.
• Be able to analyze data and generate reports to track collection progress.
• Have experience in collections or accounts receivable.
• Have knowledge of legal requirements and regulations related to collections. Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and collections software.
