Commercial and Short-Term Underwriter at RPO Recruitment

Responsibilities:

• Handle all aspects of short-term and commercial underwriting, including buildings and cyber security cover.
• Ensure strict compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with a small, agile team and adjust to new centralized systems.
• Maintain high service standards while working independently.
• Accurately assess risk and process new business, renewals, and endorsements.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial and short-term underwriting.
• Strong working knowledge of multiple product providers — not limited to a single brand.
• Must be fully registered with all relevant industry regulators (no lapsed certifications will be accepted).
• Proven ability to operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Candidates with brokerage experience will be highly preferred.
