Commercial Manager

Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage a small team remotely
- Develop and implement Pricing Strategies for the group for Road Freight & associated services
- Actively chase and develop new business for the group
- Ensure that quotes are sent out on time
- Follow up on quotes sent out to our clients and prospective clients
- Update our Quote Calculator and advise changes / innovations to this calculator
- Weekly and Monthly reporting
- Manage our Client Relationship Management system
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures for all activities
- Assist with preparing documents for Tenders.
Qualifications and Skills
- Relevant tertiary education
- Experience in the logistics industry would be an advantage
- Experience in a similar role would be an advantage
- Well organised and has good attention to detail.
Working hours:-
- Monday - Friday
- 2 x Saturday mornings per month (8-12)
