    Commercial Underwriter

    What will you do?

    • The Miway Business Insurance department is looking for a new Commercial Underwriter to join the Miway Business Insurance Specialist support team.

    Minimum Qualification

    • Regulatory Exam (RE 5)
    • FAIS credits and Class of Business
    • Matric / NQF 4
    • Applicable post-matric insurance related qualification will be advantageous

    Minimum Experience

    • Minimum 3 years’ experience using MIA and TIA
    • Any commercial claims related experience will be beneficial
    • Any commercial insurance sales or servicing experience will be beneficial

    Competencies Required

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently
    • Excellent people skills
    • Strong analytical ability
    • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
