Communication Lead - Corporate Office Cape Town at The Building Company

Description

• Planning: Lead development of internal and external communication policies and plans.
• Manage campaigns and communications materials: Prepare written materials for public awareness campaigns. Maintain a range of publications to meet communications goals.
• Manage stakeholder relations and issues tracking: Develop means for the business to track the environment and implement appropriate communication responses for key issues that can affect The Building Company image and reputation.
• Events Management: Manage the execution of Support Office events and activations providing guidance to business partners on the execution of TBCo events.
• Oversee sustainability and research: Oversee the management, co-ordination, implementation, design and reporting on all aspects of The Building Company’s sustainability initiatives, including project and budget management.
• Team Management: To lead, develop, motivate, and manage the performance of a team and/or relevant project team(s), when appropriate, and ensure an optimally skilled, motivated, and high-performance team
• Upholding and promoting the company values

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Tertiary qualification in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or Journalism (essential)
• A minimum of 3 years’ relevant PR experience with successful track record
• Experience gained in a corporate/retail environment (desirable)
