    Communications & Project Coordinator

    Are you passionate about communication & projects?

    • We have an exciting opportunity for a Communications & Project Coordinator in our Operations Team based at our Support Centre in Kuilsriver.
    • The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the execution of our operational strategy by coordinating operational communications and trade-related project activities.
    • This role ensures clear, accurate, and timely communication, tracks project delivery against objectives, and facilitates effective cross‑functional collaboration to drive operational alignment and performance.

    Key responsibilities:

    Operations Communications

    • Coordinating comms content into structured folders using templates
    • Gather, filter and organize requests
    • Weekly summary of all comms to stores – Comms Roster/Tracker
    • Maintain and update a weekly comms activity tracker, similar to a promo grid
    • Assistance with governing system / platforms
    • In alignment with line manager
    • Ensure data is stored on the relevant platforms and is readily available
    • (Synergy platform housekeeping: content integrity / version-controlled publications / cleanup of obsolete content / systems migration – Vima/ Fusion etc)
    • Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders / collaboration (Support Centre & Field).
    • Collecting and organising data for Postmortem feedback presentations (Festive, Black Friday, BTS, ad hoc on request)

    Project Coordination

    • Effectively coordinating the roll out of Operations / Merch Projects to stores within specified time frames
    • Footprint of 1000 stores, communicating at store level
    • Plan, Organise, Monitor (Reporting on progress), Communication & Follow-ups
    • Plan rollouts of projects and coordinate process flow/ surveys when needed/ as per agreed time frames within budget/ communication & alignment with stakeholders/ as per agreed time frames.

    Admin Support

    • Job cards, handling of queries, snags & invoices relating to project rollouts

    What we’re looking for:

    Knowledge & Expertise:

    • Knowledge of retail best practice communications principles, techniques and trends
    • Project Management

    • Proficiency in Microsoft suite, Share Point, Power Apps
    • Proficiency in data governance processes and practices

    Qualifications & Experience

    Essential:

    • A Grade 12 Certificate/Matric
    • A National Diploma or Degree in Business/ Retail/ Project Management or Business Administration
    • Minimum of 3-4 years working experience within a Retail Chain environment working with stores, store operations, etc.
    • Minimum of 2-3 years should be Project Management or Coordination role
