Requirements:

• We are excited to offer a one-year Internship Opportunity in our Compliance department. If you’re a motivated and passionate individual looking to gain practical experience in the Compliance field, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Internship Eligibility Criteria:

• Educational Qualification: LLB, BCom Law or equivalent degree.
• Age requirement: 23 – 28 years old.
• Employment status: Currently unemployed.
• Internship History: Must not have participated in any previous internship programs.
• Citizenship: South African citizenship
• Location: Based in Cape Town or Johannesburg

• Interact with senior management, develop working knowledge of regulations, laws and industry standards that apply to our businesses such as Financial Intelligence Centre Act, 2001 (FICA); Collective Investment Schemes Control Act, 2002 (CISCA); Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act, 2002 (FAIS); Pension Funds Act, 1956 (PFA); and Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
• Receive mentorship and guidance from our experienced compliance team.
• Gain exposure to our comprehensive financial product offerings, such as Retirement Annuities, Preservation Funds, Living Annuities, and Unit Trusts
• Utilize your analytical skills to evaluate compliance and assess risks related to our controls across various lines of business.
