Compliance Executive - Tech at Nathan Digital

Job Summary:

• We are looking for a Compliance Executive to ensure our company remains compliant with global regulations and industry standards, with a strong focus on intellectual property (IP) rights, trademarking, contract management, and risk mitigation. This role will involve working with international partners, ensuring that contracts and agreements protect the company’s interests, and overseeing compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of technology-related compliance, IP rights protection, international data protection laws, global business registrations, and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with global regulations, including corporate governance, risk management, and international business laws.
• Work with global companies and regulators to maintain compliance and ensure adherence to international legal frameworks.
• Review, draft, and manage contracts, agreements, and NDAs to safeguard the company’s legal and business interests.
• Oversee and enforce intellectual property (IP) protection strategies, ensuring patents, trademarks, and copyrights are secured and maintained globally.
• Manage the trademark registration and renewal process to protect the company’s brand assets.
• Handle global business registrations, including D-U-N-S registration, tax registrations, and regulatory filings required for international expansion.
• Monitor changes in technology regulations and advise on necessary policy updates.
• Assist in risk assessments, compliance audits, and regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with legal, IT security, and business teams to ensure compliance frameworks are followed.
• Identify and implement preventative measures to mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks.

Qualifications & Experience:
Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB), Intellectual Property Law, or a related field.

Experience:

• 2-5 years of experience in compliance, legal, or regulatory roles, preferably in the technology sector.
• Strong understanding of intellectual property rights (IPR), trademarking, international business regulations, and risk mitigation.
• Experience working with global business operations and regulatory bodies.
