Requirements

• An NQF Level 8 qualification in Business Administration, Public Management, Conservatio. Environment or a related field.
• Masters degree would be advantageous
• 10 years of senior leadership or executive management experience in project management, operations, or strategy within a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate knowledge of corporate governance, financial management and strategic planning coupled with advanced leadership.
• Demonstrate understanding of PFMA and other relevant legislation.
• Reporting and Planning within the Public Sector.
• Communication Skills and project management skills
• Strategic thinking, adaptability, and the ability to build and influence relationships across all levels.
• High level of professionalism and leadership.
• Independent decision-making
• Executive-level representation

Responsibilities

• Oversee the efficient and effective operation of the CEO’s office,
• Manage high priority initiatives and ensure alignment with the organization’s broader goals and strategies.
• Manage complex, time-sensitive issues while maintaining discretion, confidentiality
• Support the CEO in various operational, strategic, and administrative tasks and liaison with head office divisions.
• Responsible for the formulating or adjusting of the programmes for major functions/divisions/department.
• Advising line managers on the relevant work and policies.
• Execute policies and decisions that was formulated by the F band.
• Set business objectives and strategy the specific division.
• Allocate resources in major departments/functions/ divisions.
• Managing employees within the band.
• Budget for and manage the department
