Compliance Intern at Bayport Financial Services

Description

• The purpose of this role is to maintain and implement the organization’s Compliance Framework to ensure Bayport Financial Services executes its strategy following all regulatory requirements and continuously delivers good client outcomes. This includes executing the Compliance Risk Management Plan (CRMP) and the requisite Compliance Monitoring Plan while guiding remedial action plans and risk mitigation strategies in line with businesses’ objectives. The Compliance Intern will assist coordinating and managing regulatory reviews, onsite inspections, and report on Business Continuity Management activities.

Requirements
EDUCATION

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• National Certificate NQF Level 5 or higher in Law, Risk Management or Auditor,
• Relevant NQF Level 5 or higher Qualification

DESIRED/ PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• FSCA Regulatory Exams (RE5)

EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of NCR, POPIA, FAIS and FICA with requisite requirements

DESIRED/ PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS

• Understanding the financial services industry would be an advantage as would the insurance industry
• dealing with credit life insurance.
