Requirements:

• Experience: 5+ years in financial services (preferably within the CIS environment)
• Qualification: Relevant qualification (e.g., law or financial degree)
• Compliance Registration: FSCA registered compliance officer with RE1 exam

Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of FICA, CISCA, FAIS, ASISA codes

Responsibilities:

• Compile compliance and statistical reports for the business, clients, and regulators.
• Implement and maintain the compliance risk management and monitoring plan, including AML compliance monitoring.
• Monitor and analyze primary legislation impacting the business.
• Interpret and implement new legislation.
• Review all marketing material in accordance with Board Notice 92.
• Address compliance queries from the business.
• Manage compliance projects from start to finish.
• Ensure application of TCF outcomes.
• Maintain FAIS compliance procedures and manuals.
• Manage the key individual/representative register.
• Monitor and report on all FAIS matters to the business and regulator.
