• TWK Agri has the following vacancy available: Compliance Officer, within the Financial Services division at Piet Retief, Mpumalanga.

Position Summary:

• To effectively deliver a quality compliance and risk management service
• Adherence to the compliance requirements as per FSCA, FICA, POPI, Long- and Short-term Insurer and Companies Act
• To provide solutions and train individuals and groups

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Compliance function services delivered to financial services provider brokerage
• Fulfil compliance function required in terms of FSCA, FICA, POPI, Long-and Short-Term Insurance, Company Act and other applicable legislation and business requirements
• Establish a culture of compliance and provide a compliance risk framework to achieve TCF outcomes
• Perform all functions to the standards and deadlines set by the brokerage
• Provide high-quality, personalised and substantive compliance reports
• Develop and implement compliance processes and provide post-monitoring feedback
• Maintain records as required by the business
• Develop and implement solutions as per remedial actions

Qualifications and Skills:

• BCom Law or LLB Degree
• Admitted attorney/advocate with 5+ years post admission experience
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in compliance within the financial services industry
• Approved Compliance Officer with the FSCA
• Category I experience (Category II advantageous)
• Insurer and outsourcing experience (advantageous)
• A good working knowledge of the financial services industry
• Understanding and knowledge of risk management principles
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Work under pressure, independently, and as part of a team
• Proficient presentation skills
