Job Description
Provide specialist support to the Manager Governance, Compliance and Assurance in accordance with the compliance framework, policies and processes pertaining to compliance across the companies within the Cosec portfolio.
Plan, execute and monitor the compliance plan and associated activities in the Cosec portfolio with applicable legislation, non-binding rules, standards and policies
Understand and identify all compliance issues relating to associated legislation, rules and policies and map and track audit findings to the compliance framework
Monitor and co-ordinate compliance reporting and ensuring controls are put in place to mitigate risks
Support corporate functions with closure of audit findings and challenge supporting evidence when necessary
Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on governance protocols with regards to policies associated with business integrity principles (training and awareness)
Qualifications
An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent)
B Comm, LLB or CIS or equivalent qualification completed
Compliance certification
Sound knowledge of Exclaim Compliance Software
Ability to develop ideas into practical solutions
Excellent oral and written communication skills i.e. well spoken, with the ability to liaise with an internal and external client base at all levels.
Analytical, Conceptual and results/outcomes orientated
Ability to work according to deadlines and under pressure
Detail orientated and pro-active
