Compliance Specialist - Johannesburg at DHL

In this Compliance Specialist position

• You will support the implementation of Compliance Management System (CMS) and data protection program for DGF MEA.
• You will be stimulating buy-in on compliance as a business priority.
• You will develop country compliance/data protection initiatives.
• You will assist RCO in oversight and monitoring the implementation of local country operations.
• You will ensure compliance policies (e.g Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, and Business Ethics Policy) are implemented in the MEA countries, ensure adherence to compliance standards.
• You will be a highly visible “central point of contact” in the country for all matters related to compliance/data protection and promoting a culture of openness for reporting compliance concerns or risks.
• You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, HR, Security, IT. 

Now, here’s what we need from you

• A university Degree
• 2-3 years’ experience in a corporate environment
• Experience in legal or compliance is preferred but not a must
• Excellent command of English (written, verbal, comprehension), Arabic/French will be an added advantage
