Component Foreman - Kempton Park at Sandvik

The role   

To effectively plan, direct, and coordinate all work activities and resources necessary for rebuilding, and repairing drifters as required to OEM specification through, good housekeeping, assigned tasks, customer  (internal & external) satisfaction, effective communication teamwork, SHEQ, policies, work schedules, procedure & specifications.

• Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans.
• Produce schedules and monitor attendance of the workforce.
• Allocate general and daily responsibilities.
• Ensure manpower and resources are adequate.
• Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.

 Your profile:

• Trade Certificate of Competence (Diesel Mechanic, Auto Electrician, Millwright, Electrician, Fitter, etc.)
• Matric
• N2 Certificate
• English proficiency
• Code 08 driver's license
• Previous experience in supervising a repair workshop
• Experience in maintenance of Drifters and Components
• Experience in working with any mobile equipment, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical  systems
• Experience in working with trackless equipment
• Machine Operator Certificate of Competence
• Attendance of any SMC technical training course would be an added advantage
