Configuration Controller at SAAB Grintek

• The individual will be required to specify and ensure the application on configuration Management (CM), during the entire life cycle of systems, products and services.  The configuration controller will support the organization and people in CM matters which will include CM Planning, CM Identifications, CM Control, and CM Status Accounting.

Your role

Configuration Planning

• Creation of the CMP as per customer requirements
• Provide training to the project/product team members in CM and IM related matters
• Participate in the Review of the project and product related Documents
• Ensure compliance of the project/product team members to GMS and Customer Requirements 

Configuration Identification

• Prepare PBS of the System and Subsystem in liaison with the System Engineer
• Creation of Product/Project Baseline in accordance with the applicable CMP or SEMP

Configuration Control

• Prepare the change for the CRB
• Convene CRB and participate as Secretary

Configuration Status Accounting

• Track and ensure the implementation of the changes on baseline
• Creation of the Master Record Index

Configuration Audit

• Participate and support the project/product team in Customer Audit
• Ensure that the PCA, FCA and FAI is executed on the project/product

Your profile

Required knowledge:

• Knowledge of the Configuration Management Processes and Implementation 
• Knowledge and Understanding MRP and PLMC
• CM Industry Standards
• CMII will be an advantage
• Good knowledge of Saab Global Management System will be an advantage

Practical Experience

• 5 years practical experience in Configuration Management on Senior level
