Constituency Coordinator: Swellendam - Western Cape East (Fixed Term) at Democratic Alliance

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Constituency Coordinator in building sustainable DA structures, strengthening community presence, and ensuring effective implementation of constituency campaign activities.
• Ensuring operational campaign delivery, activist coordination, voter engagement, and maintaining a consistent and visible DA presence within communities and ongoing political activity.
• Assisting in identifying community issues, coordinating grassroots campaign activities, supporting volunteers and activists, and ensuring accurate collection and management of voter engagement data.

Requirements

Minimum requirements:

• National Senior Certificate or equivalent 
• Experience in an administrative role
• Relevant experience which may include the following roles: field worker, community liaison, project coordinator, operations coordinator, field-related sales, field-related customer service or election/campaign-related role (advantageous)
• Project management experience (advantageous)
• Financial management experience (advantageous)
• Proficiency in at least one official language, in addition to English
• Valid driver’s licence with access to a vehicle for daily business related use
• Computer literacy, particularly MS Office suite
• Knowledge of, and/or residence in, the constituency (advantageous)
