RPO Recruitment’s client, a respected project management consultancy is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to join its Johannesburg team. This opportunity is suited to a driven construction professional with a proven track record of successfully delivering building and infrastructure projects within a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage construction projects throughout all phases, ensuring successful delivery in terms of scope, budget, quality and programme.
Coordinate consultants, contractors and other project stakeholders.
Monitor project progress, identify risks and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
Chair and attend project meetings, preparing progress reports and maintaining clear communication with clients.
Manage project budgets, schedules and contract administration activities.
Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry standards and health and safety requirements.
Foster strong client relationships while maintaining high levels of service delivery.
Requirements:
Relevant tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Building or a related discipline.
Candidate or Professional Construction Project Manager registration with SACPCMP
Approximately 5–10 years' experience in construction project management.
Proven experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project planning and contract administration.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary professional teams, contractors and clients.
Excellent organisational, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
Valid driver’s license and own transport
