Construction Systems & Process Champion at Hire Resolve

Job Description

• A building contracting and property development company is seeking a Construction Systems & Process Champion who will drive the rollout, standardization, and full user adoption of operational software (Fieldwire, CCS Candy/Buildsmart workflows, and digital site registers) across all active Atuba jobsites and office departments.

Responsibilities:

• Standardization: Create unified master templates in Fieldwire for every new project (drawing folder structures, task tags, punch-list categories, custom QA/HSE forms).
• Onboarding & Training: Conduct hands-on training sessions for site agents, foremen, and QSs both in the office and directly on jobsites.
• Compliance & Audits: Perform regular site audits to ensure teams actively mark up drawings, log daily site diaries, and attach photo evidence on-system—eliminating reliance on paper or WhatsApp.
• Integration Link: Serve as the operational bridge connecting site execution (Fieldwire) with commercial and financial management systems (Candy & Buildsmart).
• Data Archiving: Standardize site inspection sign-offs and photo records to support monthly client valuations, subcontractor progress claims, and variation/claim workflows.
• Digital Site Registers: Digitalize and standardize site logs (site instruction logs, weather delays, safety permits, plant/material delivery notes).
• Vendor & MSP Relations: Act as the single point of contact for software vendors (RIB CCS, Fieldwire, M335) and Atuba’s outsourced IT service provider (MSP).
• Site Hardware Setup: Configure and maintain site hardware infrastructure, including LTE/Wi-Fi routers, tablets, rugged devices, and user access permissions.
• Automated Dashboards: Build and maintain automated management dashboards tracking open defect counts per site, safety compliance rates, and drawing revision statuses.
• Executive Insights: Provide executive summaries to directors highlighting site software adoption metrics and operational bottlenecks.

Minimum Requirements:

• Education: NDip or BSc in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or Civil Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of site experience in commercial or civil building (e.g., Junior QS, Assistant Site Agent, or Site Engineer).

Software & Tech Fluency:

• Practical exposure to CCS Candy, Buildsmart, and field management software (Fieldwire, Procore, PlanGrid, or similar).
• Highly proficient with mobile applications, Microsoft 365, cloud tools, and construction tech.
• Data-minded approach to reporting and workflow tracking.

Change Management & Soft Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to hold ground with seasoned site managers while patiently guiding and persuading non-tech-savvy site crews to drop paper processes.
