    Consumer Education Programme


    • To execute and implement the Consumer Education strategy; to educate and assist Capitec clients, employees, consumers and prospective consumers in becoming financially knowledgeable; improving their financial health by enabling informed financial decision making.
    • To manage Consumer Education programme design, delivery and optimisation. 

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 5-7 years’ experience in a management position or as a senior specialist in retail banking and/or financial industry
    • Experience in programme development
    • Engaging and working cross functionally and big picture identification from multiple disciplines and sources.
    • Experience in customer user journeys/client experience ideal 
    • Key stakeholder engagement and management 

    Ideal:

    • Consumer education programme management
    • Proven experience of successful project management
    • Experience of leveraging technology in education / behaviour/learning environments 

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Diploma in Project Management or Finance

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Project Management or Finance

    Knowledge

    Minimum:

    • Understanding of platforms and digital knowledge in order to work with Digital solutions teams.
    • Project management methodology
    • Personal financial management
    • Understanding of development processes for digital platforms

    Ideal:

    • Principles of consumer education design and process.
    • ABET principles; facilitation and education of adult learning groups
    • Learning methods.
    • Consumer behaviour and psychology
    • Capitec bank products and services

    • Willingness to work or be available overtime and / or weekends if required
